Healthy but Tasty at Healthy Choice, Sharjah

I have failed miserably to understand that why healthy food has to always taste so bad and why it has such an expensive price tag. I finally got the answer; The more sugar, salt, and processed food you eat, the less sensitive your taste buds become to anything which isn't salty or sweet.

So the question is, can we cook healthy food without using salt or other unhealthy ingredients and still make it taste as good as unhealthy food?
I have always supported the thought of eating healthy but it's just little difficult to find a restaurant where you can have the luxury of having an option of both healthy and tasty foods. It was only recently that I discovered both qualities in one place.
Once again Sharjah didn't disappoint me when I visited The Healthy Choice.

The Healthy Choice and diet food were started by a young Emirati entrepreneur Mr. Khailfa, who had the vision to bring the highest quality of the healthiest food to the residents of Sharjah.

Honestly, I was not very excited when I was invited to try the food. I was thinking about all the possible excuses I could use to avoid going there. But honestly, this guy was so good and he was so confident about his food that I could not say no.
My perception of the food was wrong. I was amazed by the kind of dishes that I tasted and realized that healthy food can be as delicious as the unhealthy food.

Bake the World a Better Place

The best thing in life is considered food, but it's even better when you get it for free. In this vlog, I learned to "Bake the world a better place". Opened in 2000 by Mohammed and his brother, Fatayer Al Asalah offers the best-baked food I have ever tasted.

Serving a huge variety of Arabic food, I was able to taste some of the best they had to offer; not only that their food comes the way everyone loves it: more for less, that's right, at 30 dirhams max you can get over 40 pieces of your favorite Fatayers.

The thing that attracted me about this restaurant was the variety of food they had to offer, especially their Egyptian dishes. A lot of people told me about this place and that's when I just had to go visit, and boy was it a treat.
Once again, Sharjah didn't disappoint me.
